The “Demonstration Meeting on Preparation to Establish the Institute of Big Data Research and School of Data Science” was held in the center of Academic Conferences on February 13th, and, Chen Guoqing, president of Inner Mongolia University and other executives attended the meeting.
Zhao Ji, vice-president of IMU, conveyed the requirement of the Regional government to establish an “Institute of Big Data Research” in Hohhot.
President Chen stated the background, regional needs and policy basics for the development Big Bata Industry, and emphasized, IMU would strongly support the development of “Institute of Big Data Research and School of Data Science” to accelerate Inner Mongolia area’s modernization and drive the deep integration of innovation, industry and capital chain,.
Wang Fuzhen, General Manager, introduced the progress in the earlier stage and the preparation plan.
