To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, Inner Mongolia University (IMU) held a gala on its north campus in Hohhot, capital of North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on Sept 29.

The gala featured 17 dancing, singing, and musical instrument performances and attracted local officials, IMU leaders and staff, and about 3,500 teachers and students.

 At the end of the gala, the audience sang the patriotic song Me and My Motherlandin in honor of their country’s birthday.
