The closing ceremony for the 11th Inner Mongolia University Games was held at the South Campus of Inner Mongolia University in Hohhot, capital of North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on Aug 13, marking the end of five months of games.

Since March 20 this year, nearly 10,000 athletes from 51 colleges and universities throughout the region have participated in the games, competing in 216 events of 10 majors.

During the ceremony, the organizing committee of the games presented awards to a number of universities and related organizations and institutions throughout the region and also commended volunteers who helped out during the games.

After the award ceremony, Inner Mongolia University of Finance and Economics (IMUFE), the organizer of the 12th University Games held several performances. Then, the representative from IMU then handed over the flag of the university games to the representative from IMUFE.
